A crowded SaaS market needs a more specific offer.
Skale is an organic growth agency focused on AI search and SEO for technology and SaaS brands. Its buyers operate in a saturated B2B software market, where a broad promise to improve visibility is easy to overlook.
The opportunity was to replace that broad promise with research about the prospect’s own visibility. frontBrick built a way to assess large prospect lists and turn the findings into a concise, relevant outreach offer.
The Solution
Research AI visibility across thousands of prospects.
The workflow used Clay to coordinate research through the OpenAI, Claude and Gemini APIs. The aim was to evaluate how prospects appeared in AI-generated answers at scale, then use that account context to shape the approach.
API responses provide a research snapshot for the prompts and models used. They are not a universal visibility score across every consumer AI product or buyer query. The commercial use was to find a relevant conversation starter for each account.
Start with the market. Build lists of B2B SaaS companies that fit Skale’s offer.
Make the research repeatable. Run AI visibility checks through Clay using OpenAI, Claude and Gemini.
Connect the observation to the offer. Use the research to make an improvement opportunity concrete.
Keep the email concise. Send one relevant email. This campaign did not include a follow-up sequence.
Outbound generated 2.75 times inbound’s won MRR.
The supplied dashboard covers the rolling period from 29 March to 31 May. It records €13,200 in outbound monthly recurring revenue won, compared with €4,800 from inbound. Outbound also produced 83 leads and 63 marketing-qualified leads, compared with 41 and 21 respectively from inbound.

Outbound led on leads, MQLs, won deals and won MRR in this view. Inbound produced more SQLs. These are the dashboard’s reported stage counts, not a claim that every lead passed through every stage within the same period.
The research did the work before the email.
A single-email sequence put more weight on the relevance of the offer. By researching AI visibility at account level, the team could lead with a concrete opportunity instead of a generic introduction.
For an agency selling expertise, this is a repeatable principle: build the research needed to make the offer useful before asking the prospect for time.
