Prospeo for B2B prospecting: pricing, API and enrichment workflows
Prospeo can turn an identified prospect into a usable contact record. Build around accurate matching, selective mobile enrichment and clear CRM rules instead of treating every exported row as a qualified lead.

Prospeo is a B2B prospecting and enrichment platform for finding people and companies, verified business emails and mobile numbers. It fits teams that need contact data through a prospecting interface, CSV workflow, API or supported CRM integration.

What Prospeo is useful for
Prospeo belongs between account selection and sales execution. It helps a team discover contacts or enrich people it already knows, then make those records usable in another system. The right starting question is whether you need more accounts, better contact coverage, or cleaner existing records. Those are different workflows.
It is a good fit for teams adding verified contact information to a defined audience, enriching CRM records or combining search with an API process. It is a weaker fit if your main problem is unclear positioning, a poor offer or inconsistent follow-up. Finding an email does not resolve any of those.
Evaluate it using your actual markets. A provider that performs well for US technology executives may behave differently for regional manufacturers or uncommon job titles. Coverage is a segment-level question.
Features that change the implementation
The current platform goes beyond individual email lookup. Its plan comparison includes people and company search, AI search, lookalikes, personas and a Chrome extension. Paid plans add CSV and API enrichment. Growth and Pro include native HubSpot and Salesforce capabilities. Check the specific filter and integration permissions in your chosen plan before designing around them.
The Enrich Person API accepts several identity combinations, including a LinkedIn URL, an email, a person ID from search, or a name combined with company information. It returns person and company information with available contact details. Supplying a company website is preferable to relying on a company name that several businesses may share.
Bulk Enrich Person accepts up to 50 people per request. Each input needs your own identifier so you can reconcile returned matches, unmatched records and invalid inputs. Keep that identifier throughout the workflow.
A practical account-to-contact workflow
Here is a proposed setup for a B2B team selling to operations leaders. The account list has already passed commercial qualification. Prospeo supplies contact data; it does not decide whether the offer is appropriate.
- Prepare the approved audience. Normalize company websites, remove duplicates and apply customer, opportunity and do-not-contact exclusions.
- Choose relevant people. Search for agreed functions and seniority, or import known people from your research. Confirm the employer before enrichment.
- Send identity-rich inputs. Prefer a known profile URL or name plus company website. Preserve the CRM contact ID as your reconciliation identifier.
- Request the minimum useful data. For email campaigns, use the verified-email requirement. Request mobiles only for accounts where a calling motion is planned.
- Separate outcomes. Matched, unmatched and invalid inputs go to different queues. An invalid input needs correction, not another identical request.
- Review and sync. Apply field ownership rules before updating the CRM. Only accepted records can move into a campaign.
The most expensive shortcut is enriching first and qualifying later. Every irrelevant account creates contact cost, review work and potential distraction for sales.
Map the response without losing the exceptions
For bulk requests, the official response exposes matched records, a not_matched list, an invalid_datapoints list and total_cost. Use those distinctions in your operating dashboard. A successful HTTP request does not mean every person was successfully enriched.
| Input or result | Internal action | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|
| Your input identifier | Join to the existing contact or research row | Response order should not determine identity |
| Matched person and company | Check employer, persona and contact availability | A match can still be commercially unsuitable |
| not_matched | Mark missing under the requested conditions | Do not label it an API outage |
| invalid_datapoints | Send to input repair | Matching was not attempted |
| total_cost | Attach usage to the batch and segment | Explains actual enrichment cost |
For example, your internal row could contain account_domain, crm_contact_id, full_name, profile_url, enrichment_requested_at and campaign_eligibility. Keep the original CRM values in an audit record. Define whether provider data may fill empty fields, propose a change, or overwrite a field. Sales-owned notes and active opportunity ownership should not be replaced by enrichment.
Before launch, test a duplicate contact, an ambiguous company name, a missing domain, a changed employer and a valid person without the requested contact details. These cases reveal whether the workflow is safe to hand over.
Prospeo pricing: email and mobile economics
Reviewed 18 October 2026: monthly pricing lists Starter at $49 per user with 2,000 credits, Growth at $99 with 5,000, and Pro at $249 with 15,000. Free provides 100 credits monthly. Annual subscriptions have different billing and upfront credit allocations, so compare commitment and allowance together. API access is paid, not included in Free.
The documented enrichment model charges one credit for an email and ten for a mobile, with email included when mobile is returned. No result is not charged. The API documentation also describes a 90-day repeat-enrichment window without charging again for the same record. Credits do not roll over at renewal; annual credits are granted upfront.
For planning, 1,000 email-only successes plus 100 separate successful mobile enrichments would use 2,000 credits. That is an illustration, not a coverage forecast. Do not automatically add one email credit to every ten-credit mobile result. Use the API's reported cost to reconcile the actual batch.
The real cost includes seats, add-ons, orchestration, review and any separate sending platform. A low price per credit is less useful than a low cost per accepted contact who fits your offer.
Prospeo compared with adjacent tools
| Option | Where to evaluate it | What to compare |
|---|---|---|
| Prospeo | Contact discovery and enrichment | Verified contact coverage, identity matching and plan permissions |
| BlitzAPI | Programmatic company and people workflows | Returned-record economics and integration ownership |
| Apollo | A broader sales prospecting workspace | Whether its combined workflow replaces tools you already use |
| Clay | Research and orchestration across providers | How enrichment fits into a larger qualification process |
A provider waterfall should have an explicit purpose. Query another source when a necessary field is missing, not because another integration is available. Deduplicate first and stop once your acceptance criteria are satisfied.
What to monitor after launch
Track correct-person matches separately from contact availability. Then measure verified email coverage, mobile coverage for requested accounts, manual corrections, duplicate prevention and cost per accepted contact. Segment by geography, persona and source list so a weak audience is not hidden inside a good average.
Do not infer buying intent from a found address. Do not infer inbox placement from an email status. Keep qualification, verification and campaign results as separate measurements.
Handle rate limits with bounded retries. Pause on insufficient credits, and alert the workflow owner. Preserve checkpoints so restarting a batch does not create new CRM records or enroll someone twice. When an employer change conflicts with an active sales conversation, route the change for human review.
Build the enrichment system with frontBrick
frontBrick can define the audience and implement the workflow around Prospeo: identity rules, selective enrichment, field mapping, duplicate controls, review queues and CRM handoff. The deliverable should include a documented data dictionary, usage report, failure-recovery procedure and clear ownership for future changes.
Book a complimentary discovery call with Stan to scope the system. Implementation pricing is custom, based on your workflow and existing tools.
Prospeo buyer questions
Does Prospeo charge when it cannot find an email?
The current enrichment documentation says no result is not charged. Confirm how the endpoint and requested options apply to your workflow, then reconcile the reported total_cost rather than relying on an older review.
Can I use Prospeo for CRM enrichment?
Yes. Paid API workflows can support enrichment, and Growth and Pro list native CRM capabilities. Decide which fields the provider can change and how conflicts are reviewed before enabling updates.
Should I enrich mobiles for every prospect?
Only if calling is part of the sales process. Mobile enrichment uses more credits than email. Prioritize accounts and roles where a caller will use the result.
Is Prospeo a replacement for Clay?
They solve different layers of the workflow. Prospeo supplies discovery and contact data. Clay can combine providers and additional research. Use the combination only when the extra orchestration has a clear purpose.
How many people can one bulk API request include?
Up to 50. Provide a unique identifier for each input and reconcile all three outcome groups, including invalid records, before considering the batch complete.
What should an evaluation sample include?
Use the regions, company sizes and personas you actually sell to, plus known wrong-fit and ambiguous records. Score usable matches and correction time instead of relying on an advertised database size or accuracy percentage.
